Our approach to practice is based on the teachings of Sayadaw U Tejaniya, which encourage cultivating wise awareness in all aspects of life. My hope is to support this group in living a mindful life—led by awareness and wisdom—so that practice becomes a natural part of our daily experience.
Mindfulness isn’t limited to sitting on a cushion—it weaves through both formal practice and the rhythm of daily life, and our gatherings reflect this spirit. Some weeks, we’ll sit together in meditation. Other times, we may head out for a hike, attend a community event, go shopping mindfully, or meet virtually on Zoom.
Thank you for your interest in these groups. We’re excited to grow together and look forward to connecting soon.
Feel free to reach out with any questions—we’re happy to help and will keep you updated on any changes.
For now, I’m taking a little break from regular weekly teaching 😊
As the group has grown so beautifully and steadily, this feels like a good time to let it stretch its wings a little 🕊️ Making a little more room for 🧘♀️☕️🌤️⛷️🌲
The group will continue meeting in a peer-led form — practicing, sharing, and supporting one another in the spirit of Sayadaw U Tejaniya’s teachings.
I’ll still wander in from time to time to join the group or offer a teaching now and then.
Thank you all for helping this little community grow in such a beautiful way.

Dear Friends,
On this special Sunday, we’ll take our practice to the farmers market. Instead of our usual sitting, we’ll explore how awareness can be present while walking, looking, choosing, buying, and talking with others.
The farmers market offers a wonderful opportunity to practice in everyday life—meeting colors, smells, sounds, decisions, and interactions with curiosity and ease. Even shopping for tomatoes can become part of the path 😊
Come join us as we practice mindful shopping and discover that awareness is just as available in the produce aisle as it is on the meditation cushion.

Looking forward to practicing together in the wild world of fruits and vegetables! 🥬🍑🥑
