Our approach to practice is based on the teachings of Sayadaw U Tejaniya, which encourage cultivating wise awareness in all aspects of life. My hope is to support this group in living a mindful life—led by awareness and wisdom—so that practice becomes a natural part of our daily experience.

Mindfulness isn’t limited to sitting on a cushion—it weaves through both formal practice and the rhythm of daily life, and our gatherings reflect this spirit. Some weeks, we’ll sit together in meditation. Other times, we may head out for a hike, attend a community event, go shopping mindfully, or meet virtually on Zoom.

Thank you for your interest in this group! We’re excited to grow together and hope to connect soon.

Feel free to reach out with any questions—we’re happy to help and will keep you updated on any changes.

We’re Back — In-Person Meetings Resume!

Dear Friends,

Our in-person meditation gatherings are starting up again!

We’ll sit together, check in about life and practice—and maybe enjoy some snacks, if one of us remembers to bring a little something to share 😋

Come as you are. I look forward to seeing you soon.

Meetings resume on September 7, 2025.

Stay mindful, stay relaxed—awareness is always available.

The Mindful Picnic Gathering: Giving & Gratitude

Sunday, June 1st | 11am – 4pm

Location: Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area
We will be located near the Blue Lagoon area.

Family and friends are welcome.

Come join us for a gathering rooted in generosity and meaningful connection! We’ll share food, embrace the joy of being together, and explore the practice of giving dana gifts—acts of selfless generosity (Gifts will be available.)

As part of this experience, we’ll engage in meditation tailored to social interactions—helping us relax the mind, settle into awareness, and observe our interactions with ease.

Through thoughtful offerings, gestures of support, and shared kindness, we’ll give without expectation, simply observing how generosity feels in the mind and body. With each act of giving, we’ll notice our intentions, the emotions that arise, and the subtle ways kindness unfolds—deepening our connection to generosity.

We hope to see you at the picnic! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help.
